When I first began Descent Skateboards back at the end of 2013 I was determined to include some products that were made by my own hands. Due to the complex manufacturing processes of making skateboards and wheels, a lot of the actual final processes are not in your direct control. Trust me, that's a good thing on the whole. The science of making great consistent decks and the chemistry in making great durable urethane is tried and tested by many people and done expertly by a few (the ones I've chosen to work with ;)

I could however turn my hand to making some of the accessories, particularly the leathergoods that I hope have complimented the offering Descent has brought so far.

Of course, I've been doing this for quite a while and when it comes to skateboard product, I'm pretty damn nerdy. I've brought that attention to detail to all of the things I produce. It's just, in the case of the leathergoods, I actually get to produce something from start to finish.

Pretty refreshing, I hope you'll agree.

Keep on truckin'
